Gift Fund Options

LGBT Center Gift Fund
This fund supports the Center’s annual operating budget; uses include but are not limited to student programming, maintenance of the Carriage House, and research and conference scholarships.

The endowment for Center staff, programs, and services ensures essential operations continue indefinitely. Donors may choose to endow something of special interest or contribute to the general endowment fund.

The Leslie Townsend Fund
This fund assists students making a gender transition.

LGBTQ+ Research Fund
Awards research grants to faculty, graduate students and undergraduate students studying or teaching about queer issues.

Schoenberg LGBTQ+ History & Archives Fund
Named in honor of founding director Bob Schoenberg, this fund supports archiving of documents and photographs, recording interviews, publishing and presenting findings, and creating an interactive exhibit with both physical and virtual components.

The Mark D. Gordon, W ’65, L ’68 Lecture Fund
Initiated by a supportive alumnus, gifts support annual lectures by scholars on subjects important to the LGBTQ+ community.
